The Surrey Ark is a unique, small, independent, local, fully qualified, trained and experienced, independent, small, family run Cat/Pet Care and Dog Walking company operating in the Claygate area, within 2 miles.  The team is run by Sue our Degree Qualified Dog Behaviourist. We are not a chain, with us it's personal. Many of our regular clients are now friends. We are caring professionals, have over 11 years' experience walking a variety of dogs and caring for many lovely local cats and various other pets.

We are professionally trained having
graduated from Guildford College (Merrist Wood) with qualifications in Animal Management BTec Level 3, Canine First Aid trained, fully insured, caring and with great references and over 10 years' experience.
Sue, our Level 6 fully qualified Dog Behaviourist runs the team and trains all of our very experienced walkers with new dogs to meet the needs of each particular dog. All dogs are different and have their own needs.  We will walk reactive dogs if we have assessed them, so email for details of prices.

We rarely walk more than two dogs at a time—only when we know they are a great match and you are happy with it. Large group walks can often lead to excitement or tension, which is why we take a more personalised approach.

We take the time to understand your dog’s unique personality, including their likes, dislikes, and any behavioural needs, so we can tailor each walk to what they enjoy most.

Discreet & Stress-Free Service

For added security and discretion, we use unmarked vehicles—so there’s no outward sign that you’re not home. Unlike many other services, we don’t transport dogs around in crowded vans or leave them waiting for long periods. Instead, we collect them from your home, take them on their walk, and return them clean, content, and happy.
